When to Engage in Coaching
When might coaching be a really great idea?
Coaching is a just-in-time learning tool. Client based coaching sessions are completely customized to fit individual learning styles. An individual, who has a specific goal in mind, is open to receiving feedback, and willing to stretch themselves, explore their natural fear and resistance to transformational change and try new approaches, will benefit from personal coaching.
When might coaching be a really bad idea?
Coaching is not recommended if it is someone else’s idea for what you need. A non-negotiable foundation is that you enter the relationship with an open mind and are engaging coaching because you genuinely desire to develop yourself and you believe that this process can help accelerate your personal, interpersonal and leadership development.

“You know that coaching will be right for you if you truly desire and are willing to courageously explore your self-imposed obstacles. Obstacles to what? Obstacles to higher levels of well-being, performance and productivity that are simply waiting for you to release in order to tap in to the creative potential that already exists within you.”
